Sophomore Ashley Perkoski added one score as the Blue Devils fall to 2-2 on the season. CCSU will next head on the road for contests against Sacred Heart and Quinnipiac.

Parity. The word parity is defined by Merriam Webster's dictionary as, "the quality or state of being equal or equivalent." I know this has been said before about lacrosse, but I really believe that it is starting to come true.
Many teams from all over the country are very equal right now in talent level and skill. This can obviously be contributed to the huge growth of lacrosse in the country and the fact that there is more and more good coaching at the youth levels on up. There are not enough spots on NCAA lacrosse teams as there are good players out there. That is why you see club teams playing at very high levels now as well.

Freshman Robert Church took a feed in front of the net from Scott Perri with just 22 seconds remaining in overtime and beat Notre Dame goalkeeper Scott Rodgers to give the Dragons a 7-6 win against the third-ranked Fighting Irish. The 20th-ranked Dragons (4-1) won their fourth straight game and handed the Irish its first loss of the season.
